WEIGHT
It is important that you estimate the weight of your shipment as close as possible for several reasons. One is your quote will be based on the estimated weight. Another is your shipment may or may not be re-weighed while in transit. If you over estimate your weight and it does not get re-weighed you will be charged at your estimated weight. This means you may pay more than was necessary. If you under estimate the weight and your shipment is re-weighed you will only be charged for the actual weight of your shipment at the original rate per pound.
If you are not sure what an item weighs try calling a store that sells that type of item and ask them. They will probably be able to help. If the person you first talk to can't help ask to talk to the warehouse manager, he receives and delivers these items every day and should have a good idea of what they weigh.
