DEFINITIONS
Shipper – The person with the item(s) to be shipped.
Consignee – The person who will receive the item(s).
Customer – The person paying for the shipment (also the most important person we know).
Dim weight – Dimensional weight (see “Air / Ocean Freight”)
B.O.L. – Bill of Lading, also known as the shipping papers or shipping documents.
Destination – Where the item(s) are to be delivered.
Origin – Where the item(s) are to be picked up,
Lift Gate - A platform on the trailer that moves up and down to lift heavy items from the ground to the truck bed. This is an additional cost service.
